Supernanny Marketing Efforts Attract Thousands to Focus on Your Child
After a Focus on Your Child spot that aired during Supernanny, thousands of parents called Focus on the Family and visited the Focus on Your Child Web site.
Resulting from a multimedia marketing campaign, almost 10,000 new families joined the Focus on Your Child program in a coure of less than a week. The campaign is sponsored by Focus on the Family.
The Focus on Your Child currently has a membership program that is customized so that parents only receive age-appropriate advice and support.
The effort, which included Web promotion, media coverage, television spots and targeted e-mails, reached thousands of families wanting practical parenting advice and encouragement.
The cornerstone of the campaign was the Focus on Your Child spot, which aired nationwide on ABC television on Monday, May 2 during Supernanny - a program featuring British Nanny Jo Frost helping parents with their badly-behaved children. The program was a good fit for Focus on the Family's faith-based parenting messages.
After the spot, thousands of parents called Focus on the Family and visited the Focus on Your Child Web site looking for resources and encouragement in facing the difficulties of parenthood.
