'Supernatural' Season 10 News: Episode 2 'Reichenbach' Plot Revealed

Season 9 of "Supernatural" ended with Dean turning into a demon and Sam desperately trying to find and save him, despite the note that Dean left him that read, "Sammy let me go."

In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Jeremy Carver talked about what it was like to write about a different side of Dean.

"It's been a lot of fun," said Carver, "It's actually more careful than it seems. Some of the darker things that demon Dean does [are] fun to write but a little wince-inducing, because demon Dean is certainly darker than regular Dean."

"There's always this worry of, 'Oh my goodness, is Dean really doing this?' But of course, it's demon Dean. It's liberating in one sense, and a little bit nerve-inducing in the end," he said.

It looks as the new season is about to get darker as Dean continues to indulge his bad side and Sam gets in trouble trying to get to him.

In the premiere episode of season 10, Sam finds out that Dean is not dead, but he has turned into a demon and is on the road getting in all sorts of trouble with Crowley. Sam starts out to rescue his brother, but is captured by another person who is looking for Dean.

Dean is seen at a roadhouse indulging in sex, booze, and some karaoke. Cole calls Dean and says that he would kill Sam, and Dean tells him to go ahead, but warned him that if he killed his brother, he would find and kill him.

Here is the official synopsis for season 10 Episode 2, titled "Reichenbach," according to Hypable.

"Crowley tells Dean the Mark needs to be fed—Crowley (Mark Sheppard) notices Dean (Jensen Ackles) is becoming more and more aggressive. Dean tells him that that's the side effect of being a demon, but Crowley knows it's something more—the Mark of Cain needs to be fed. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is captured by Cole (guest star Travis Aaron Wade), an angry man who blames Dean for his father's death years ago and wants revenge," the synopsis reads.

"Cole tortures Sam, hoping he'll tell him where Dean is hiding. Hannah (guest star Erica Carroll) sees how weak Castiel (Misha Collins) is becoming as his grace continues to fade, so she makes a bold choice and asks Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) for help," it continued.

Watch season 10, episode 2, "Reichenbach" on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
