'Supernatural' Season 11 News, Cast, Spoilers: The Impala a.k.a 'Baby' Gets Her Own Episode
For the past decade, "Supernatural" has not failed to emphasize the importance of the Impala in the lives of the Winchesters. The Impala is the one that had saved the boys in one of the season finales as it was the main reminder of what they had went through since the beginning. Although the history of how the car ended up in the possession of the boys hasn't really received too much focus, the upcoming episode will be entirely all about Dean's Baby.
From the stills released by Spoilers Guide for episode 4, or much known as the "Baby" episode, it seems that much of the scenes will show the staple conversations inside, on-the-hood, and around the famous Impala. TVLine also reported that it will be an "Impala love letter," with one of their insiders claiming that other things to be expected include "several fantastic music cues" and "Baby's first valet experience."
Jeremy Carver, who had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, shared his excitement over the said episode, as he is quoted saying, "Episode four is one that we're all really excited about." He further confirms the style of filming that can be expected, "It takes place all inside the Impala. It's all from the point-of-view of Baby. It's giving tribute to the Impala, which is basically the unsung hero of the show." Perhaps it is high time that the Impala gets recognition for all the memories it has shared with the brothers.
Furthermore, after the Impala episode, fans can also expect Jensen Ackles directing another episode early in the season. Not only are the show's followers looking forward to it but apparently Ackles also feels excited to get the opportunity once more. He states, "I am directing again, and I'm really excited about it. It feels really good to get behind the camera for an episode again. I kill myself during prep. I make sure that I meticulously do my homework so that when I show up for day one, I'm not scared and I can be ready for anything. I like to come over-prepared as far as directing goes."
