The strange image had fans believing that it was a delusion from Trickster, played by Richard Speight Jr. Many fans took their confusion to social media, unable to comprehend what they had just seen. Aside from the teaser, more questions are waiting to be answered when the series returns.

One of the most prominent mysteries in the series is why God has not appeared in the series until now. He was recently introduced to the show because his sister, Amara, had infiltrated Earth. Her arrival to the story caused trouble for the brothers, which led them to turn to God for some guidance.

Fans were also shocked when they saw Dean and Amara kiss. This had fans speculating whether the two will continue their actions and foster a relationship. This is due to the fact that Amara deeply believes that they are meant to be together. With that, there are expectations that the two will be getting together soon.

With that, it is evident that the return of the series will be highly anticipated. "Supernatural" season 11 is expected to return on The CW this Jan. 20.
