'Survivor: Kaoh Rong – Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty 2' Spoilers: What Fans Need to Know About 'Survivor: Kaoh Rong'

"Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance" ended on a high note earlier this month, and expectations are the same, if not much higher, for "Survivor: Kaoh Rong — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty 2." Fans will have until February next year to see the latest of the hit CBS reality competition, but viewers are already looking for some news on what they need to know about the upcoming season.

According to Headlines and Global News, the 32nd season of "Survivor" was filmed much earlier than "Survivor: Cambodia." The filming began from March to May 2015, which is around summer time in Cambodia, and fans should expect a very hot season for the chosen survivors.

Enstarz said the network claims that this will be the "most punishing" season ever, since the trailer shows several medevac, and may even hold the record for the most number of medical evacuations on the show's history.

With regard to the selection process of this season's players, the contestants were chosen based on their most dominant attributes, hence the name "Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty." This is the second time that "Survivor" has chosen this theme, and the very first one was seen on "Survivor: Cagayan," where Tony Vlachos from the Brawn tribe emerged as the ultimate survivor of the 28th season.

There are 18 contestants in total, and six in each tribes, namely Totang, Chanloh, and Gondol. Totang will be wearing red buffs, and are made up of the Brawn tribe members, while Chanloh will wear blue, and are composed of the Brains team. Lastly, Gondol will have the Beauty group, and will have yellow buffs. Some of the most popular players are Caleb Reynolds, who's a former "Big Brother" contestant, and Scot Pollard, a former NBA player.

Watch the new season of "Survivor" this Feb. 17, Wednesday, on CBS.
