'Survivor: Kaoh Rong – Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty' News: Season 32 Is Named the Most Punishing Season Ever
A First Look promo was just released for "Survivor: Kaoh Rong – Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty," and the upcoming season is named as the Most Punishing season ever in the show's history.
People released the sneak peek of the 32nd season of "Survivor," and viewers saw the brutal condition that the 18 new survivors would have to endure. According to the website, the condition in the location, Kaoh Rong, was terrible since it was the rainy season in Cambodia during the filming.
Having miserable conditions can only mean that the contestants' bodies will eventually succumb to exhaustion, and viewers saw proof of that in the video that was released. The promo showed "Survivor's" medical team giving attention to some of the suffering players, and even the standby helicopter was called to possibly airlift someone. Mark Burnett, the show's executive producer, confirmed that there were three evacuations that happened this season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly was able to chat with the show's host, Jeff Probst, and Probst revealed that this season is indeed the most brutal ever. "This season is also going to see a lot of hardship," Probst said. "From the extreme of an evacuation to something as small as a really bad sunburn, every day truly posed a new risk to this group. The heat, the rain, the bugs and the infections were a daily obstacle," he explained.
The 54-year-old host also said that bringing the Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty theme again in season 32 makes the next season "really interesting." "Even from the first three days, you see very clear differences within each tribe. And loyalty is a theme this season, but, then again, when isn't it?" he said. Fans are also looking forward to see if the tribe members will stick to each other until the end, or if someone will jump to the other tribe once the merge happens.
"Survivor: Kaoh Rong – Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty" will premiere this Feb. 17 on CBS.
