'Survivor' Season 35 Spoilers, Latest News: Conflicts Break Out at Hustler and Healer Camps on 'My Kisses Are Very Private'
A new season of CBS' Emmy award-winning reality television show has begun, and a new set of 18 castaways has taken the one-million-dollar challenge of vying for the title of sole survivor. Which positive qualities will reign supreme in "Survivor: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers"?
This season, the 18 castaways are divided into three different tribes. First is the Hero Tribe, or Levu, which consists of people whose jobs have let them show courage and strong ideals. Next is the Healer Tribe, or Soko, who are people who help others heal through their physical and emotional pain. The last group is the Hustler Tribe, or Yawa, which is composed of people who are admired for their hard work and exceptional work ethics.
Additionally, the show will also be going back to the old tie-breaker format at tribal council, something that was altered in the previous "Game Changers" season. A new super immunity idol has also been put into play in the premiere episode.
And although the said item could only be used on the first tribal council and is thus now useless, it may still be able to change the course of the game in drastic ways since its current owner, Chrissy, plans to use it to fool her tribemates that she has an immunity idol, should a need for it arise.
Two castaways have since been voted out. Katrina Radke, an Olympian from the Hero Tribe, was voted out on day 3 during the first tribal council. The Hustler Tribe was also forced to cast off one of their own, diversity advocate Simone Nguyen, on day 6 during the second tribal council.
In her exit interview with US Weekly, Nguyen said that she thought she had a 50-50 chance of staying in the game versus her tribemate, Patrick Bolton, whom she described as "the loudest person I have ever met in my entire life."
Patrick also seems to be the main source of annoyance for the other Hustler castaway, Lauren Rimmer, and the preview for the next episode titled, "My Kisses Are Very Private" hints at this said conflict possibly getting worse.
On the other hand, Joe Mena from the Healer Tribe may have just gotten a huge target on his back when he is suspected to have found a hidden immunity idol.
Which castaway will be next to go?
"Survivor: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers" airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
