'Switched at Birth' Season 5 Episode 7: Toby and Lily Fight Due to Kathryn
Toby (Lucas Grabeel) will be caught in-between Lily (Rachel Shenton) and Kathryn (Lea Thompson) in the upcoming episode of "Switched at Birth."
In the episode titled "Memory (The Heart)," the synopsis (according to Spoilers Guide) reveals that Kathryn will make things difficult for her son because of a special request. She wants Toby's child to be baptized according to family tradition. Toby will not be able to say "yes" to Kathryn right away, since he knows what Lily's feelings are about religion. He does not wish to impose the Kennishes' practice on her just because they are married. What will he do to avoid hurting both women?
Meanwhile, memories of Angelo (guest star Gilles Marini), Daphne (Katie Leclerc) and Bay's (Vanessa Marano) father, will be relived when a mysterious girl comes into the girls' lives. Hints predict that she is Angelo's other daughter. Angelo died in a terrible car accident back in season 3. Regina and the girls were heartbroken and even started to blame each other for what happened. The new episode will mark the 100th episode milestone for the Freeform series.

Series creator Lizzy Weiss recently talked to TV Guide about what they have planned for the special event. According to her, the 100th episode will be a turning point with regards to the storyline. Since the series is nearing its end, viewers can expect that the next episodes will be gearing towards giving closure to the characters' plotlines. The series finale, she hinted, would not disappoint.
"It's just a huge milestone. Giles Marini (Angelo), is back in a very special way since he passed away. We are really proud of that episode. It's very emotional. It's more of a 'regular' Switched at Birth episode with our girls at the forefront and the parents. Lea directed it and behind the scenes it was just a really cool time. We were all running around giddy because we had made it to the three-number mark," Weiss said, according to TV Guide.
"Switched at Birth" season 5 episode 7 will air Tuesday, March 21 at 9 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
