T-Mobile New Smartphone Line-Up for Holiday Season Leaked
A recent photo leak points to T-Mobile's planned releases of its new smartphones for the holiday season: the HTC "Ruby" and Samsung "Hercules."
Blog website TMo News previously announced that it came upon a leaked roadmap of the devices that cellphone carrier T-Mobile is planning to release over the next month.
The leaked image, now in possession of the website, details the release schedule for the company's 12 new smartphone models. Six of the 12 devices are seen with code names.
These six smartphone models are slated for a Nov. 2 debut date.
The HTC "Ruby" and Samsung "Hercules" smartphones are the first two items that are showcased on the leaked memo. These models are actually the HTC "Amaze 4G" and Samsung "Galaxy S II," which were made available for pre-order on Oct.10 and in-store purchase for Oct. 12 prior to the press release leak back in September.
That same press release reveals the T-Mobile "Sonic 4G Mobile Hotspot", produced by Huawei. This smartphone is the third product slated for an October release by T-Mobile.
The final items listed on the leaked memo are Samsung's "Robin" and the RIM "Dumione," which appear to be the updated Galaxy "Tab Plus" and the "Blackberry Torch", respectively. Both devices are due to be released a week after the other smartphone models debut on Nov. 2.
TMo News also released another internal memo that verified the date of the fourth product, the Samsung "Arnold." This item is said to be the recently revealed Samsung "Galaxy Tab 10.1."
T-Mobile recently announced the availability of its first two smartphones set for a November release: the T-Mobile "myTouch" and "myTouch Q."
Both models are manufactured by LG. T-Mobile says these products are "expected to be available in time for the holiday season."
LG is also manufacturing the Flip II and the 4G-enabled Samsung "Ancora," which appears to be a part of the "Galaxy S" family and might be the less-expensive "Galaxy W."
The HTC "Radar 4G," a Windows smartphone model, will be one of the first devices outfitted with the new Windows OS "Mango." The Radar 4G is also expected "in time for the holidays."
The Huawei "Tallsome" (the rumored 7-inch Honeycomb tablet) is also set for a Nov. 2 release date. T-Mobile's "Springboard" tablet has been revealed as well.
