'Taken' Season 1 Episode 7: Bryan and Mejia Finally Face Off in 'Solo'

NBC's prequel series to the "Taken" movie trilogy is about to take a turn for the worse when its main protagonist, a younger Bryan Mills (Clive Standen), gets taken hostage while on assignment to thwart a weapons operation led by none other than Carlos Mejia (Romano Orzari) himself. Will this finally be the episode that brings Bryan face-to-face with his sister's elusive killer?

The official trailer for the episode titled "Solo" says as much as it shows Bryan taking matters into his own hands at the mere sight of the man. Will he be able to keep himself in check, or will he completely lose himself to his desire for redemption despite Christina Hart's (Jennifer Beals) warning to not bring his personal agenda into the operation?

But more importantly, what will Bryan find out about the circumstances of his sister's death as he goes to confront the man responsible for it? Will it only confirm what he already knows, or bring to light a much deeper, darker mystery that Mejia may not be able to answer for him?

Meanwhile, the official synopsis teases that Bryan will be held hostage during an operation to stop Mejia, although it does not indicate whether this will come before or after what is shown in the trailer. The synopsis further states that Bryan will have to rely on his training with the Green Beret and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) to survive, while his team works out a daring rescue.

The upcoming episode will also feature a significant progress in Bryan's relationship with his sister's friend, Asha (Brooklyn Sudano). Who will initiate the move and what will be the motivation behind it? And how will this change in his personal life affect Bryan's seemingly insatiable obsession with killing Mejia?

"Taken" season 1 episode 7 airs on Monday, April 10 at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
