After Tamar Braxton announced that she was going off the social media grid amid reports that she had been fired from her co-hosting duties on "The Real," the singer and reality television star has decided to spend more time in church.

The singer appeared in an Instagram image with gospel singer Erica Campbell whose record producer husband, Pastor Warryn Campbell, leads the California Worship Center. Braxton attended the church's service with her husband, Vincent Herbert, and their 3-year-old son, Logan.

"@tamarbraxton thanks for coming to @caliworship today!! We had good ol church today," Erica wrote on Instagram Sunday.

The post comes after Braxton told the world she was betrayed in parting ways with "The Real."

"I love you all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted. (Not my man or my sisters.) I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch and it's not in good taste to tell you who, but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own," the 39-year-old singer-songwriter wrote on Instagram. "But know that everyone who smiles in your face is not your friend and is not cheering for you, and will lie and try and tear you down to try and dim your light. Thank God He holds my future and my hand!"

While Tamar seemed to be upset with the news, she glorified God before letting her followers know that she would be taking a hiatus from social media.

"To God be the glory and I will be taking a short break from all social media. Until then, love yourself and watch your back," she wrote.

Braxton has been vocal about the importance of her Christian faith in the past.

"Both of my parents at one time were pastors of their own churches and I learned a lot from that, but not until I was an adult did I understand it and know for myself," Tamar told Flaunt magazine in an interview for the November 13 issue. "That's what changed things for me. That's where accepting myself comes in. There's no way I can fake the funk. If you do it, how long can you do it for?"

It was this faith that helped "The Real" talk show host further her career in music. "I had to be really strong in my faith and I know if it wasn't for God, I would not be here," she previously told Ebony magazine in May 2013.
