Tampa Bay Rays vs Cleveland Indians Live Stream: Watch Online AL Wild Card Game MLB 2013 Baseball (Start Time, TV Info)
Tampa Bay Rays vs Cleveland Indians takes place in the AL Wild Card Game as the MLB 2013 postseason gears up and the business end of the season starts. This will be a tense, winner takes all match up with the prize a place in the Division Series. The game is scheduled to start at 8.07 p.m. ET and can be watched online through MLB live stream (details below).
These two teams appear very evenly matched with the Rays finishing their season with a record of 92-71. In comparison the Indians finished with 92-70, showing how little there is between the sides.
The Rays had to come through an Extra Game against the Texas Rangers to get here, but they managed to claim the win on Monday to arrive here today, and now have the chance to move into the Division Series.
The Rays had to use David Price in the tiebreaker game on Monday night in Texas, so that means their ace pitcher will not be up on the mound tonight. So the fate of the team in many ways is placed in the hands of 25 year old Alex Cobb.
Cobb of course is known by many for being hit in the head by a line drive off the bat of Kansas City's Eric Hosmer over three months ago now. But since returning on Aug. 15 he has recorded a 2.41 ERA and has performed admirably.
Meanwhile the Indians won their last 10 games of the year to get through to this Wild Card Game, and the pressure on their team rotation now means 23-year-old rookie Danny Salazar gets the call, it will only be the 11th appearance of his major league career.
The winner of tonight's Wild Card Game will be rewarded to take on the MLB's best team of the regular season, the Boston Red Sox.
