Taylor Swift and Katy Perry Feud Ends Due To A New Music Video?
It seems like the rumored feud between pop superstars Taylor Swift and Katy Perry has finally come to an end.
Speculations claimed that both singers managed to set their differences aside and patched things up before the holidays.
Reports claimed that several photos and a video footage showing the behind-the-scenes look of Swift's upcoming music video for the song "End Game" that was shot in Miami, Florida were circulating online. According to the reports, some fans believed that one of the back-up dancers looks like Perry. This could mean that their long-running rift is officially over.
But a source reportedly told Entertainment Tonight that there is no truth to the speculations, and the dancer with the same blonde pixie-cut hairstyle as the "Fireworks" singer is just her look-alike.
The rumors about the music superstars' reconciliation stemmed from a report from E! News, stating that Swift and Perry patched things up when they were both in Miami. But reps from both camps have yet to release any statements to confirm the claims.
Perry first talked about the rumored feud during her appearance in James Corden's "The Late Late Show," saying that it all started when three of Swift's back-up dancers decided to leave her tour to join the former's Prism World Tour. She also claimed that she tried to reach out to the "Blank Space" singer, but she refused to talk to her.
The feud reportedly got more heated when Swift released her hit song "Bad Blood" in 2014 which was believed to be her outlet to diss the 33-year-old pop singer. Perry also allegedly answered Swift's song with her own single titled "Swish Swish" this year.
Perry also reportedly apologized to Swift earlier this year, saying that its time for them to end the animosity between each other. "I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, the singer told Arianna Huffington during an episode of her "The Thrive Global" podcast. "I think it's actually like, I think it's time. There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I'm saying?"
The collaboration between two artists in a music video remains unconfirmed at the moment.
