Taylor Swift Runway Show for Victoria's Secret Gets Mixed Reviews
Taylor Swift is receiving a lot of feedback on her performance at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, including both criticism and praise.
The 23-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist followed in the footsteps of artists such as Rihanna, Kanye West, and Maroon 5 by performing at the iconic annual fashion show.
However, not all viewers are thrilled that Swift was on the runway, including an actual Victoria's Secret model, Jessica Hart.
"I think, you know what, God bless her heart," said the model who was among the lingerie-clad women at the event in New York City on Nov. 13.
"I think she's great," Hart continued while speaking to Women's Wear Daily after the show. "But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit."
Hart went on to explain her diss, citing Swift's age.
"I don't know if I should say that," the model admitted. "I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."
Despite Swift's pop musical style, the singer has been in the industry since she was 14-years-old, and fans are defending the starlet against critics at the fashion show.
"Taylor Swift should be a Victoria's Secret angel because she looked PERFECT last night," HuffPost Style posted to Twitter.
"I watched one of Taylor Swift's performances from VS 2013 on YouTube and I think she looked better on stage," another fan, Sara, posted.
Meanwhile, Swift made two appearances during the show, and one included her hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble." The singer even paraded the runway alongside Victoria's Secret models, known as "Angels."
Fallout Boy also performed at the annual fashion event.
"Tonight!! Insane! Glittery catwalk! IS THIS REAL LIFE @LilyAldrige @VictoriasSecret #VSFashionShow," Swift posted to Twitter along with a photo from the show.
