Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez Catch Up at 2014 Met Gala: She 'Knows All My Secrets,' Says Gomez

Taylor Swift and her longtime best friend Selena Gomez caught up with one another at Monday's Met Gala amidst rumors of a rift between them.

Last month, Gomez purged her Twitter and Instagram accounts and unfollowed dozens of friends and celebrities, including Swift. The act sparked speculation of a falling out between the two singers. Nevertheless, Gomez shared a video appearing very chummy with Swift on Instagram Monday night. The short clip showed the starlets dancing in their ball gowns inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art following the 2014 Gala.

"Sometimes you just want to be with someone who knows all your secrets," Gomez wrote in the caption to the video.

The video was set to Dean Martin's "Volare." It also featured model Chrissie Teigan.

Over the past few years, both Swift and Gomez have frequently acknowledged their close friendship, including Swift referring to Gomez as "the closest thing I've ever had to a sister" last year. However, Gomez's on-and-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber is said to have taken a toll on her kinship with Swift.

Meanwhile, ahead of the 2014 Met Gala, Swift opened up on social media about another friendship. The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer shared photos taken with Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss as the pair primped for Monday's fashion event in New York City.

"Hair/make up/Motown dance party @karliekloss," Swift posted in the caption to Instagram.

Once she arrived to the Met Gala, the 24-year-old singer said it was "a daydream realized" to wear a custom-made Oscar de la Renta blush satin faced organza gown. The floor-length dress featured matte gold sequins, pearl beads, rose gold metallic threadwork leaves, and organza petal embroidery. Swift accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Christian Louboutin shoes and an Edie Parker clutch.
