Teen Choice Awards - Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher Lead Celebrity Turn-Out

The Teen Choice Awards 2011 has seen A-listers Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and the cast of Glee, among many others attend the star-studded event. The event was hosted by “The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco, the event’s winners were selected by public vote online prior to the telecast.

The first surfboard award of the night, Choice Romantic Comedy Actor, went to Ashton Kutcher for “No Strings Attached.”

Kutcher advised the teen audience during his acceptance speech not to “ever charge anything on a credit card if you don’t already have the money in the bank to pay for it.”

Taylor Swift was bestowed the Ultimate Choice Award for her “extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry,” and also received awards for Choice Female Artist, Country Artist, Country Song, and Break-Up Song, among others.

Selena Gomez performed during the awards ceremony with her band, the Scene, as boyfriend Justin Bieber mouthed the lyrics to her new single “Love You Like A Song.”

Gomez claimed five awards that included Choice TV Comedy Actress, Love Song, and Female Hottie.

As Justin Bieber accepted his award for Choice Male Artist, he pointed to the crowd and said “Jesus loves every one of you.” Teenagers also voted Bieber for Favorite Tweeter, and Favorite TV Villain for his role on CSI. Alongside “Hottie” award-winner girlfriend Gomez, he was awarded Choice Male Hottie.

“Harry Potter” stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe won Choice Movie Liplock as well as Choice Summer Movie Male and Female awards, respectively, for “Deathly Hollows: Part 2.”

Also in attendance was Cameron Diaz who took home the Choice Movie Actress Comedy award for “Bad Teacher,” “Twilight” mega-star Robert Pattinson, who won Choice Vampire, and Choice Comedian award-winner Ellen DeGeneres.

“Gossip Girl,” which was voted Best Drama, won the show’s star Blake Lively the award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actress.

Favorite Sci-Fi Movie Actor went to “Twilight” heartthrob Taylor Lautner.

Musical artists Avril Levigne and Black Eyed Peas appeared on the red carpet for the event, as well as reality TV stars Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.
