Most notably, "Glee" star Lea Michele took the stage to accept the award for Choice TV Actress: Comedy when she paid tribute to her late boyfriend and co-star, Cory Monteith.

Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver, Canada hotel on July 13, and an autopsy revealed that the 31-year-old died from a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol.

An emotional Michele made her first public appearance at the TCA's where she thanked fans and dedicated her award to Monteith.

"Thank you guys, thank you. I just wanted to be here today to personally thank you all and tell everyone out there how much your love and support has meant to me over these very difficult past few weeks," said the 26-year-old actress. "Not that I had any doubt before, but you guys are most certainly the greatest fans in the world."

Furthermore, Michele recounted her love and grief for Monteith.

"I wanted to dedicate this award to Cory. For all of you out there who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with your love we're going to get through this together," she added. "He was very special to me and also to the world. We were lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart. So whether you knew him personally of just as Finn Hudson [on "Glee"], Cory reached out and he became part of all of our hearts and that's where he will stay forever. So thank you guys so much. Thank you."

As for the rest of the star-studded Teen Choice Awards ceremony, "Pitch Perfect" took home the favorite comedy award while its stars Rebel Wilson and Skylar Astin won for choice actress and actor in a comedy.

Ashton Kutcher was presented with the Ultimate Choice Award when he joked that the honor was the "old guy award" and admitted that his real name is Chris.

Miley Cyrus' hit song "We Can't Stop" earned her the award for Choice Summer Song, while "The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons took home Choice TV Actor.

Other big Teen Choice Award winners included Selena Gomez, Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, Bruno Mars and Sandra Bullock, among many others.

Also, fans swooned over Kevin Jonas' wife Danielle who debuted a tiny baby bump as the couple is expecting their first child this year.
