Teen Mob Steals Jeans Worth $3,000; Owner Identifies Suspects With YouTube Video
A Teen mob has stolen jeans worth $3,000 over the weekend in Chicago. The teen mob consisted of 20 teenagers, who stole the jeans from a Chicago Wicker Park store, according to CBS Chicago.
The troublemakers took $200 designer Nudie Jeans from the Wicker Park store, but quick thinking owner, Luke Cho, immediately posted a video of the theft on YouTube, which has sparked a flurry of tips as to the identity of the suspects.
Cho has said about his video posting: "You see a group a group of teenagers walking in – or marching in – one-by-one. As you can see, it looks like it's some kind of procession."

He could see something unusual was going on and so he even stepped forward and locked the doors of his store, which in fact saved his store from having even more teenage mob members enter.
However, the teens who had already gotten into the store grabbed the jeans and quickly made their exit. They ran into the crowded streets from the Wicker Park Fest and were lost among the hundreds of other shoppers and pedestrians.
The incident was immediately reported to police, who are confident of capturing the suspects despite them being able to make their getaway. Cho has been a central part of the investigation himself; by posting the footage of the theft taking place he has already received an amazing response from local residents who have helped identify six of the 20 thieves in the teenage mob. This will help police to track down the suspects and make their arrests, and potentially provide even more strong leads to find the other members of the group.
Here is a video of the teen mob making off with the unpaid merchandise. It shows a mass stream of teenagers casually walking into the store and spreading out throughout the shop, before making off with the stolen goods.
