'Teen Mom 2' Kailyn Lowry Gets New Tattoo: Artist Reveals All
"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry is a huge fan of tattoos, as is her husband Javi Morroquin. The two recently went to a tattoo parlor in Pennsylvania and filmed their time there for the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2," and their tattoo artist revealed all about their tats and filming.
"They were recording some pre-stuff for season five," Jesse Probus, owner of Sick Ink Studios, told Radar Online. "We were finishing up the third session on his (Javi's) sleeve. He's been coming here a lot – and I'll be doing a lot more to him, actually."
Morroquin joined the Air Force and is now preparing to leave the military and return to civilian life. He is apparently having a jet turbine tattooed on his arm in honor of his time in the military.
"I don't think I've ever seen it done before, and Javi let me have free reign. He's getting out of the Air Force, so I felt that's what he should have on his body," Probus said, "and he let me do it."
The couple's relationship was filmed for "Teen Mom 2" during the last season, and fans are eager to see how they are doing now. The same can be said for the other three girls featured on the MTV series.
"They are just really awesome people and I hate when people talk [expletive] on them because once you really get to know them, they're really good people," Probus said. "I actually consider them really good friends. It's just really cool. She's honestly an amazing person. And he comes here and hangs out all the time."
Lowry has her own set of tattoos and is rather proud of all of them. She famously has her entire back covered in an elaborate cover, but Probus said that he is doing touch-up work on the artwork.
"I'm reworking a whole arm on her right now… skulls and stuff like that. It's pretty elegant, actually. It sounds evil, but it's really nice," Probus explained.
"Teen Mom 2" began filming for the fifth season, but no air date has been set yet.
