'Teen Mom 2' News: Jenelle Evans Responds to New Child Custody Battle

Jenelle Evans is facing yet another custody battle — this time, over her three-year-old son Kaiser Griffith.

According to legal documents obtained by Radar Online, the "Teen Mom 2" star is fighting back after Doris Davidson — the mother of her ex Nathan Griffith — filed for emergency temporary custody of Kaiser. The documents indicate that Evan's 9-month-old daughter Ensley Eason tested positive for marijuana when she was born in January 2017.

Davidson claims the Department of Social Services conducted an investigation and found out that both Evans and her fiancé, David Eason (Ensley's father), also had marijuana in their system. In addition, Kaiser's grandmother pointed out "several occasions" in which she noticed "bruising and markings on the minor child that are unusual and more than normal."

Evans responded to Davidson's claims and said her mother, Barbara Evans, might have something to do with the filing. Fans may already know that Evans has a troubled relationship with her mother, who also battled with her over custody of her oldest son, Jace.

"Our lawyers are talking today," Evans said in a statement to E! News on Friday. "Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them ... Doris threw her own son under the bus by admitting that he has pending felonies and possibly on drugs. Her emergency filing was against me and Nathan. Both ... I can tell you that they are allegations, mostly driven by my mom. Our lawyers are working out a new agreement."

Nathan has yet to give an official statement on his mother's emergency custody filing. It's worth noting though, that he has always been outspoken about how his son has been treated by Evans and Eason. Shortly after Evans released her statement, Nathan offered what seems to be a response via Twitter.

"Please stop lying. My mom never said I was possibly on drugs, I never have been. Plus, the court case is set Oct. 2," he tweeted.

"Teen Mom 2" airs every Monday night at 9 p.m. EDT on MTV.
