'Teen Mom 3' Cancelled After Reported Lack of Interest
"Teen Mom 3" has been cancelled after only one season. The four young women on the series have been quite vocal about the show being cancelled, even though MTV has not given an official reason for the cancellation.
"Teen mom 3 was one of the best experiences I ever had! I will never forget it! Time to move on from MTV and do bigger and better things & no I don't mean become a porn star lol," tweeted star Briana Dejsus, 19.
She was obviously referencing the life and career path of "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham, who chose to make an adult movie after starring on the MTV spin-off series. Abraham has since become a spokeswoman for agencies and makes frequent appearances at bars and gentlemen's clubs.

The "Teen Mom 3" series was the third after MTV's hit original "16 & Pregnant." The first two series became so popular that they filmed four seasons apiece; "Teen Mom 2" actually filmed a fifth season that will air next year. Unfortunately, "Teen Mom 3" never seemed to catch on with fans who grew attached to the casts of "Teen Mom" and "Teen Mom 2."

Rumors swirled that fellow "Teen Mom 3" cast member Mackenzie Douthit, who is married and expecting her second child with her husband, would be getting her own spin-off. Maci Bookout, from the original "Teen Mom" series was so popular that she actually did receive her own MTV special, which allowed fans to see her life post-"Teen Mom." However, MTV told Us Weekly that there was "no truth" to rumors of Douthit getting her own series.
