'Teen Mom 3' Star Arrested for Drug Possession
"Teen Mom" is always filled with plenty of on-and off-screen drama, and the latest group of "Teen Mom" stars is seemingly keeping in tradition. The father of Briana DeJesus' baby girl was arrested for drug possession, adding even more tension to their already rocky relationship.
Devoin Austin was reportedly arrested over Labor Day weekend for multiple charges including possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, burglarizing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Austin was arrested in Kissimmee, Fla. and held on $5,000 bond.
DeJesus had already filed for a protection of order after Austin posted rude and improper comments about her online. She later decided to dismiss the order in the hope of getting him to pay more attention to their daughter, Nova, and become a better father. In the latest episode of "Teen Mom 3," viewers watched as Austin tried to handle his baby girl on his own for a half hour.
According to reports, Austin was arrested in March for possession of marijuana and pled guilty to the charge. He received one year of county-supervised probation and one day in jail. One year ago, he was charged with possession of cannabis. Those charges were dropped and Austin given a second chance, which he blew in March. Now, with the new charges, he could possibly go to jail for a while.
DeJesus knows about the latest arrest. She posted a picture of his mug shot and arrest.
"This is why I'm over protective when it come to MY* child, ill be damned if she knew what jail even meant!" DeJesus captioned the photo.
Things have been very rocky between DeJesus and Austin since the birth of daughter Nova. DeJesus chose not to put his last name on the baby's birth certificate, which set Austin into a rage. He took out his frustration on social media, which led to DeJesus' filing for an order of protection.
