'Teen Mom' Farrah Abraham New Song Ridiculed on Twitter (AUDIO)
"Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham has released her debut single just weeks ahead of her upcoming new book "My Teenage Dream Ended," and fans of the reality TV star are less than impressed.
The new song is titled "Finally Getting up From Rock Bottom." It is said to be about the many challenges that Abraham has faced as a single mom and finding the strength to continue on with her life, according to a report.
"I'm happy again, and this is my song for finding happiness," Abraham told In Touch Magazine. "After almost wanting to kill myself, I found meaning and happiness within."
The song features an upbeat tempo teamed up with lyrics about enjoying life, and many fans flocked to social networking site Twitter, where an overwhelming number of critics mocked the new single.
"Just heard farrah abraham's song i wanted to slam my laptop on something," Yoselyn Lopez tweeted.
"If anyone needs a good laugh, go listen to farrah from teen mom's new song," Joanna tweeted.
"LMAOOOOO. OMG. IM DYING OF LAUGHTER. FARRAH ABRAHAMS NEW SONG IS HORRIBLE XD I STOPPED AT :30," Heidi tweeted.
Although the 21-year-old says that she is currently in a good place, her road to happiness has not been easy.
Derek Underwood, Abraham's ex-boyfriend, was killed in a car accident on December 28, 2008, just two months before the teen gave birth to their now 3-year-old daughter Sophia Laurent Abraham. Following this tragedy Abraham has been faced with domestic violence disputes against her own mother, Debra Danielson, and drug abuse claims made by her alleged friends.
On Monday, Abraham was hit with fresh claims that she is still using drugs after she openly admitted to previously using marijuana and cocaine to cope with Underwood's untimely death after their daughter was born.
"When she was in Hollywood to celebrate her 21st birthday we partied at Geisha House and Kiss Lounge in Beso," Abraham's friend Austin Mathouser told RadarOnline.com. "All throughout dinner and the club she talked about how she does Xanax and Adderall to stay up and energized. She frequented the bathroom that whole night taking them to stay up."
Abraham is accused of abusing alcohol in conjunction with prescription drugs during her recent birthday celebrations, which prompted the mother of one to engage in inappropriate behavior.
"She got very drunk. She was grabbing on guys and girls, and even hit one guy that didn't want to dance with her," Austin said. "She got really sloppy and was throwing her drinks around and yelling."
