'Teen Mom' Stars Pregnant, Rushed to the Hospital
Two pregnant "Teen Mom" stars have been rushed to the hospital for treatment due to different medical ailments. Jenelle Evans and Mackenzie Douthit may not have starred in the same season of "Teen Mom" but both are quite pregnant right now and hoping that all works out for their pregnancies.
Evans, who is due in June, was rushed to the hospital after throwing up all night long. Even though she thought it was part of morning sickness, boyfriend Nathan Griffith urged her to go to the hospital just to make sure that everything was okay.
"She was crying and could barely talk," a friend told Radar Online. "He (Griffith) told her something more is wrong when she told him she had stomach pains and he finally talked Jenelle into going to the hospital. Jenelle was checked out by the doctors today and they said she just has the flu and is badly dehydrated. She is home and resting now and she feels much better."
It had to have been a scary experience for Evans, given that the last time she was rushed to the hospital during a pregnancy, she had a miscarriage. According to one report, Evans' son Jace had been sick with a stomach bug recently, which could explain how she wound up with the flu.
In other "Teen Mom" news, Mackenzie Douthit, who has battled Diabetes her entire life, was taken to the hospital due to low blood sugars. Doctors are afraid that she could go into early labor and are trying to prevent it at all costs.
"At hospital with Mic! Trying to stop low blood sugars. Hoping to keep baby girl in for at least another week!" Mackenzie's mom Angie tweeted. "Mic is spending another night in the hospital" she added just yesterday.
"Being in the hospital is never fun but it was great bonding time with my mommy," Mackenzie tweeted around the same time.
She has struggled with her diabetes throughout this pregnancy but is hoping to deliver a healthy baby girl in the next few weeks.
