'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Cast News, Spoilers: More Argent Ancestors To Appear In Flashback Episode

Fans of the Argent family of wolf hunters will be happy to know that it's not only Marie-Jeanne Valet (Crystal Reed) who "Teen Wolf" fans are about to meet in the Feb. 23 episode "The Maid of Gévaudan." According to TVLine, actors Lachlan Buchanan, from "The Young and the Restless," and Gilles Marini, from "Switched at Birth" and "Sex and the City," are also set to appear in the episode as Argent ancestors Henri and Sebastien, respectively.

As Henri, Buchanan plays what "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis called a "wise but guarded" Argent family member who lives as a recluse in a secluded forest grove. Despite the fact that he has isolated himself from the rest of the Argent ancestors, Henri possesses, like any true Argent, a vast knowledge of the supernatural world.

Meanwhile, Marini plays the role of a French soldier from the countryside of Gévaudan. The soldier, Sebastien, returns one day to his village to find that The Beast has attacked the townsfolk, including his younger sister. Coincidentally, Marini is intimately familiar with the story of The Beast of Gévaudan. "He's French, and for his family, the Beast of Gévaudan was their Boogeyman," Davis explained. "They would all tell stories about the Beast, so it was a very familiar character to him," he added.

Needless to say, "[Gilles] was excited to do the story," Davis told TVLine.

It has been previously reported that Reed, who played the role of Allison Argent in Seasons 1 to 3 of MTV's popular supernatural drama series, has been convinced to return to the show to play the role of Argent ancestor Valet. "The Maid of Gévaudan," the episode in which Reed, Marini, and Buchanan are set to appear, tells the story of the Beast, the main villain of Season 5.

The Beast made its Beacon Hills debut in last Tuesday's episode of "Teen Wolf."

"Teen Wolf" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
