'Teen Wolf' Season 5 News: Cody Saintgnue On Role And Dream Storyline; Episode 14 Teased

Cody Saintgnue, one of the stars in MTV's hit supernatural drama TV series "Teen Wolf" Season 5, recently sat down for an interview to reveal his thoughts about his small screen role as well as his dream storyline.

As he was quoted over at Advocate.com, the 22-year-old who plays the bisexual Buddhist werewolf Brett Talbot said that he finds it "really cool" to portray such a character as he believes that this could help the viewers get educated on bisexuality.

"Brett on the show is considered a cool, edgy, sexy character, and so it's nice to add this interesting layer (bisexuality and being a Buddhist) [to the character] because people have a stigma of what they think gay, straight, lesbian, everything is. And yeah, he's bisexual and he's a Buddhist. It's opening people's minds to what's out there. I think that's really cool," he told the media outlet.

The young actor went on to admire series executive producer Jeff Davis for "always trying to break labels" and that he's quite happy that he got to play a part of it.

When asked what would be the storyline he would want for his character to get into, Saintgnue said that relationships on Teen Wolf were "very complicated" to follow. However, if given the chance to choose, he would opt for Brett and Mason (Khylim Rhambo) to be together. The reason behind it is that it kind of reminded him of Tyler Hoechlin's Derek and Dylan O'Brien's Stiles partnership.

"…it could be like the long -lost chapter of the Sterek campaign ... Maybe fans would like that," he went on to tell Advocate. But with a girl, he's got no idea.

For the meantime, the show will return this week with an episode titled "The Sword and The Spirit."

According to the synopsis shared over at Hollywood Hills, Malia (Shelley Hennig) and company will come up with a plan to save Deaton (Seth Gilliam) from the clutches of the Desert Wolf while Scott tries to quorum his pack.

"Teen Wolf" Season 5B airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on MTV.
