'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Premiere Date Latest, Cast Rumors: Which Major Character is Leaving the Show?
While the Season 5 premiere is still to be announced, one of the cast members have already revealed that one major character will not be returning. Holland Roden, who plays Lydia Martin, took a break from the New York Fashion Week to spill the news.
Roden did not reveal who it would be in his interview with Hollywood Life, but he did confirm that a major character would exit the show.
"You're going to have to tune in for season five to see if we're all coming back or not. That's just the reality," he teased.
At the end of the fourth season, Derek Hale, played by Tyler Hoechlin, did not leave Mexico with Scott McCall, portrayed by Tyler Posey, along with the rest of the main cast members. Chris Argent, played by JR Bourne, also did not leave Mexico as he had made a pact with his sister Kate Argent, played by Jill Wagner, who is now on the run.
"Derek walked off into the sunset, and he could easily wake up the next morning and go get Starbucks or Lydia could have magically have joined Jackson in London. We don't know," Roden pointed out. "It's sort of a toss up of who is not coming back for season five, but somebody is not coming back for season five."
The series' story revolves around Scott, who was bit by a werewolf. He must then find a way to cope with how this affects his life as well as the lives of those closest to him.
