Scott Encounters First Problem at UC Davis in 'Teen Wolf' Season 6B
Trouble will follow Scott (Tyler Posey) and his wolf pack wherever they go in the second half of the current season of "Teen Wolf."
Executive producer Jeff Davis recently told TVLine that fear will continue to pervade in season 6B. Although the main characters are supposed to be starting another chapter of their lives, the feeling of danger will not be far behind. Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) is supposed to be taking the pre-FBI program at George Washington University, while Scott will attend UC Davis. Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) is in charge of the pack in Beacon Hills. It remains unclear if they will face hurdles together or separately, but one thing is clear – they will experience how to be outsiders once again.
"It's something new, but also old. Scott and his supernatural friends become pariahs once again. They're feared and hunted. It's very much a season of fear. Our inspiration was H.P. Lovecraft, so you're going to be seeing a lot of dark horror in the next season. We have some really disgusting stuff coming up," the EP teased, according to TVLine.
Davis also told Hollywood Life that the pack would "see the rise of new hunters." These new enemies will target them, and the EP warned that it is going to be bloody. Old characters will also be back. When asked for specifics, Davis opted to remain mum, only stating that he has a list of names ready. He also said that it was their way of acknowledging the contribution the characters gave to the show.
Meanwhile, Davis revealed that they are preparing a big Malia (Shelley Hennig) episode in season 6B. She reportedly wants to leave Beacon Hills and explore the world, but it will not be as easy as she thinks. Malia will also deal with her father, Peter (Ian Bohen), who wants to be part of her life once again.
"Teen Wolf" season 6 is rumored to return late June.
