'Tekken 7' Update: Console Versions Getting New Graphics
The waiting for fighting game "Tekken 7" continues on as fans eagerly watch out for updates regarding the development of the game. Unfortunately, the date of arrival is still uncertain. According to a report by Latin Post, Bandai Namco Entertainment has kept mum about specific details of the game including the release date.
They will be announcing it soon but for now, fans will have to settle with the speculation that it will come sometime in 2016 and will be made available for the PS4 as well as PlayStation VR support. Arcades in Japan already have the game though. It has also been already brought to various location tests in selected arcades in the U.S., as reported by Gamespot. It's not announced if it will be made available for Xbox One but there's a big chance that it will make its way to Microsoft's console.
Meanwhile, the excitement of the fans are heightened when it was recently revealed that some improvements are being made to the game. According to Attack of the Fanboy, a fan asked game director Katsuhiro Harada on Twitter if "Tekken 7" will get new graphics for the console version. Harada answered, "Working on new graphics." His reply ignited hype among gamers who can look forward to seeing better gameplay visuals once the game hits store shelves.
The arcade game in Japan looks pretty impressive because it currently runs on Unreal Engine 4. However, it is undeniable that some tweaking and improving will give it a better look on the console version. Fans can only hope that the new graphics that the team is working on will do the essential deed.
As for the characters, Parent Herald reported that Kazumi Mishima, Kazuya, Heichachi Mishima, Claudio, Jose, Katarina, Gigas, Lucky Chloe, Josie and more will be part of the roster. The storyline of the game will follow the battle for power amongst the Mishima clan.
