Teresa Giudice 'Hurt' By Family's Accusations
Teresa Giudice, the 41-year-old "Real Housewives Of New Jersey" star, is defending herself against claims that she is spreading vicious rumors about her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.
Gorga, 34, has been feuding with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice since joining the show in its third season. In the most recent season five episode, Gorga's friend told Giudice that the former had an extramarital affair.
However, Gorga and Giudice's brother Joe Gorga questioned if Teresa had a part in spreading the negative rumors. However, Giudice took to her Bravo TV blog to refute the claims made by her family and former friends on the show.
Giudice explained why she was in the company of people who were intent on spreading gossip about her sister-in-law, letting it be known that one of the women doing so were trying to purchase some of her hair care products for their salon.
"(People) that own salons come up to me saying they want to carry Milania Hair Care. Of course, I listen. Then they start talking trash about my sister-in-law," Giudice wrote on her Bravo TV blog. "Of course, I stop listening. I get up and leave. Doesn't matter though, because I am invisible now."
Giudice said she decided to stop watching the show when she realized that her family and friends were blaming her for spreading rumors about Gorga's infidelity. However, she did admit that it hurt when the people she once loved blamed her.
"It does hurt that [they] always [assume] the worst of me. It hurts when they call me names," Giudice wrote. "It hurts when I see tabloids with the 'inside scoop' on my parents, my in-laws, and my marriage. But what can I do?"
While Gorga has told Bravo TV host Andy Cohen that she and Giudice were in a better place, she also told fans of the show to stay tuned so that they can see how things play out.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. E.T. Bravo TV.
