Tetra Pak Fortune Heir Held After Wife Found Dead
The son of one of the wealthiest men in the world was in police custody for questioning after his American-born wife was found dead in the couples' mansion.
Hans Kristian Rausing, heir to the Tetra Pak fortune, was initially arrested in London on Monday on drug possession charges. His wife's body was later found during a search of his residence in an upscale neighborhood in London.
The death of Eva Rausing, 48, has been officially declared as unexplained, with reports from The Telegraph adding she may have died of a drug overdose. The mother of four was discovered in an upstairs bedroom after her husband was arrested by authorities on suspicion of possessing drugs.

The pair has had a long and very public struggle with drug abuse dating back to when the couple first met at a rehabilitation center when they were in their 20s.
The last trouble Eva faced was back in 2008 after she allegedly attempted to bring drugs into a party held at the U.S. Embassy in London. The charges led to a search of the family's home where officials found crack, heroin, and 52 grams of cocaine. The charges were later dropped after Eva agreed to enter a treatment program.
At the time she apologized for her actions and to anyone she hurt adding that "I hope in due course to get back on track," according to ABC.
She added: "I have made a grave error and I consider myself to have taken a wrong turn in the course of my life."
A statement was released by the Rausing family which conveyed the family's insistence on privacy.
"Hans and Märit Rausing and their family are deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of their daughter-in-law Eva Louise Rausing. They ask that their privacy be respected at this sad time," according to the statement released to ITV News.
