'That's So Raven' Sequel News: Raven Shares First Cast Photo

Disney Channel is officially bringing back everyone's favorite psychic. "Raven's Home," the sequel series to "That's So Raven," has been picked up and will premiere sometime this year.

"That's So Raven," a series that ran from 2003 to 2007, focused on Raven Baxter, a teenager whose psychic powers often got her and her friends into trouble. Raven-Symoné is set to reprise her role, along with Anneliese Van Der Pol, who played her best friend Chelsea.

"Raven's Home" will see Raven and Chelsea, two divorced single mothers, raising their children under the same roof. As if that wasn't hard enough, the level of chaos is upped when one of Raven's kids begins displaying signs of the same psychic powers.

The roles of their children have already been casted. According to Deadline, Issac Ryan Brown ("black-ish," "Miles from Tomorrowland") and Navia Robinson ("Being Mary Jane") will respectively play Booker and Nia, Raven's 11-year-old twins. Jason Maybaum ("Superstore") is set to portray Levi, Chelsea's 9-year-old son. Finally, Sky Katz ("America's Got Talent") will play Tess, Nia's best friend.

"There is only one Raven – and for over 25 years, she has blessed audiences around the world with the greatest gift of all – the pure, unadulterated joy of laugh-out-loud funny. After being a part of over 20 different Disney projects, we are thrilled to be bringing Raven home to Disney Channel once again," Disney Channel boss Gary Marsh said.

The sequel series was first announced last year, in October. At the same time, Raven revealed that she was leaving "The View" to focus on the Disney Channel series. She will be serving as an executive producer, along with Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff, on "Raven's Home."

Recently, Raven took to her Instagram to express her excitement about the project.

Production is set to commence this month, although a release date has yet to be announced. It is expected that "Raven's Home" will debut later in the year.
