'The 100' Season 3 Spoilers: Latest Trailer Shows the Fight Is Far From Over; New Poster Could Possibly Reveal the City of Light
Fans of "The 100" just have several more weeks left to wait for the show to resume airing next year. To tease fans even more, The CW has released the show's latest trailer and a brand-new poster revealing some details of the upcoming season.
"The 100's" new poster
"The future is more than survival," says the new poster (above) of "The 100." The CW posted it on its official Facebook page to tease fans. It features a red-headed Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) staring straight ahead. Barely visible through the fog are several destroyed buildings with the highest of which belching out smoke at the top.
There is speculation among "The 100" community that the new poster offers a glimpse of the City of Light. Whether that is true or not, fans can only hope it will be unveiled in the coming season.
"The 100's" latest trailer shows intense fighting and kissing scenes
Prior to the reveal of the new poster, The CW released the latest trailer (below) of the show. The video features a short glimpse of intense kissing but more intense fighting. The three-minute clip is brimming with tensions, although not of the same kind.
Earlier in the almost three-minute video, viewers can see an intimacy boiling between Clarke and Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), as the latter pulls a knife on the former. Whether that led to anything at all remains to be seen, but viewers are given a short glimpse of Clarke having a good time with someone.
Clarke is not the only one involved in some intimate scenes. The trailer also shows Abby (Paige Turco) and Marcus Kane (Henry Ian Cusick), as well as Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) kissing.
The survivors will also experience a different kind of tension brought by conflicts from both within and outside their ranks. One source of disagreement could be the Ice Nation and the arrival of more survivors from the Ark. The survivors will take sides and there will be shifts in allegiances. For instance, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Octavia will be split between opposing sides.
As for Lexa, she stumbles into a field full of bodies. Pike (Michael Beach) can be heard saying, "This land is ours now. Resist and you will be greeted by death." Meanwhile, Theolonious Jaha (Isaiah Washington) finds his way to Camp Jaha or rather is taken there by the artificial intelligence A.L.I.E. (Erica Cerra).
Fans will witness these and more from "The 100" season 3, which is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 9/8c on The CW.
