'The Bachelor' 2015 News: Chris Soules the New Bachelor, New Season to Film in New Mexico
Last Aug. 27, Chris Soules went on ABC's "Good Morning America" to confirm the rumors that he is indeed the new Bachelor.
"I was humbled, flattered, grateful," said Soules. "I was able to tell my parents and my family and they're extremely excited. Everybody's been very supportive."
Soules, who is also known as Chris the Farmer, spoke about his experience on "The Bachelorette" and the reason why he agreed to be on 'The Bachelor."

"I believe in the process. I believe in what I went through on the previous show. That's why I'm doing it," said the 32-year old.
Soules was one of the contestants in Andi Dorfman's season of "The Bachelorette" where he finished in third place. He is a fourth generation farmer from Arlington, Iowa, and is said to be very driven and successful. He currently does Farm Management at Summit Farms, and Farming at Soules Farms, which is owned by his family. He is also said to be a farmland investment specialist, according to WetPaint.
In an interview with USA Today, life coach Chris Harrison said that Soules is a good man and that "people are going to very much fall in love with this guy."
"He's a small town farmer from Iowa, fourth generation land baron. If you say he's just a farmer, you're missing it. He's a millionaire. Very good-looking guy. He really wants to find a wife and live the American dream," Harrison explained.
"The Bachelor" is reportedly heading to New Mexico to start filming the new season, and 25 ladies will be vying for the chance to be Mrs. Soules.
