'The Bachelor' 2016 News: Line-Up Includes A War Veteran, A Chicken Enthusiast, And Twins
In 2016, 28 women will be competing to win the love and devotion of Ben Higgins, the new Bachelor.
ABC has released the list of contestants for the new season of "The Bachelor," along with photos of each. The list includes some names that "Bachelor" fans may be familiar with: Amber James and Becca Tilley, who vied to win the heart of Chris Soules and will be competing again this season.
A friend of former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe will also be on the show, as will a war veteran, an accountant, and a chicken enthusiast.

The list of contestants include a 30-year-old nutritional therapist from Seattle, a 27-year-old mathematician from Salt Lake City, a 30-year-old cowgirl from Weatherford, and a 26-year-old chiropractic assistant from San Diego.
Also from California are Amanda, an aesthetician hailing from Rancho Santa Margarita; Jackie, a 23-year-old gerontologist from San Francisco; and Lauren B., a 25-year-old flight attendant from Marina Del Rey.
Higgins may have to keep notes in the first few weeks, as there are three other Laurens on the show this season. Aside from Lauren B., there are Lauren "LB," a 23-year-old fashion buyer from Stillwater, OK; Lauren H., a 25-year-old Kindergarten teacher from Ann Arbor, MI; and Lauren R., a 26-year-old math teacher from Houston, TX. There's also a Laura, and she's a 24-year-old account executive from Louisville.
To add to Higgins' confusion, there are twins on the show. Emily and Haley, of Las Vegas, are 22 years old. They are the youngest contestants on the new "The Bachelor." Tiara, the chicken enthusiast, is 26 and comes from Redmond. Jubilee, 24, is the war veteran from Fort Lauderdale. The accountant is Jessica, 23, from Boca Raton.
There's also Breanne, 30, a nutritional therapist from Seattle, WA. Caila, 23, is a software sales representative from Hudson, OH. Isabel "Izzy," 24, is a graphic designer from Branford, CT. Rachel, 23, is from Little Rock, AR. Mandi, 28, is a dentist from Portland, OR. Shushanna, 27, is a mathematician from Salt Lake City, UT.
There is one contestant from Canada: Jami, a 23-year-old bartender. There are two more girls from Texas: Joelle or "Jo Jo," a 24-year-old real estate developer from Dallas and Olivia, a 23-year-old news anchor from Austin. Lace and Leah, both 25, the former a real estate agent and the latter an event planner, are from Denver. Jennifer, a 25-year-old small business owner, and 26-year-old Samantha, an attorney, are both from Florida.
"The Bachelor" Season 20 premieres with a two-hour episode on Jan. 4 on ABC.
