'The Bachelor' News: Olivia Is Being Called this Season's Villain
When Olivia tried dominating Ben Higgins' time during the second rose ceremony cocktail party, even if she already received a rose a day before, many of the other ladies vying for Ben's time were not happy about it. Some fans are already calling the news anchor as this season's villain, and many wonder what else she will do in the next episodes.
According to Bustle, it appears like Olivia, who hails from Austin, Texas, is being given the "villain" edit by the producers, so that viewers won't like her. It is still early to conclude, though, that she is indeed the 20th season's villain; however, the website said that Ben's recent interviews don't seem to defend Olivia's behavior on TV.
According to the website, they are hoping that Olivia will give the other women a chance, as well as make friends, if she doesn't want to be seen as the show's big villain. And since Olivia seems to be naturally "competitive" and "confident," some fans also hope that she tones it down by not overly flaunting her relationship with Ben and making claims that Ben is "her husband" as early as now.
However, it seems as though all hopes may be lost since according to the New York Post, the next episode will have Ben and Olivia all alone in a hotel room. No details yet were released on what happened there, but the website said that other contestants are already complaining about Olivia's cocky attitude.
"It's like Olivia against the rest of the house," says Haley, one of the twins who is also competing for Ben's heart this season, while single mom, Amanda, said, "It kind of feels like the Ben and Olivia show." Despite all this, it seems like Olivia is not affected by what the others are saying, since she said in the beginning of the show that "you just have to go after what you want."
