'The Bachelor' news: Will Ben Higgins back out?

Recent news about the upcoming season of "The Bachelor" have already started controversy.

It was speculated that the bachelor of the upcoming season has spoken out about his doubts of becoming the next bachelor. Previous rumors have stated that he had already found a romantic relationship before the show's start.

It was reported that he was already interested in withdrawing his involvement in the network. However, it was already confirmed by the reality show that Ben Higgins will already be the new bachelor, due to his pleasing personality and good looks.

There have also been reports that Higgins have been cozying up to several ladies since his departure from the most recent season of "The Bachelorette." It was even rumored that he is currently dating Tenley Molzahn from "Bachelor in Paradise."

Meanwhile, there are other rumors that he had a girlfriend in his hometown named Kelly Osborn, as she was seen in photos with him from their social media accounts. In addition, he was also seen flirting with Cassandra Ferguson, who starred in previous seasons of "The Bachelor" and "Bachelor in Paradise."

Nevertheless, he will still have to push through with the upcoming season of "The Bachelor" since he had already signed a contract with the network. With that, two of his potential love interests in the series were already introduced. It was reported that Breanne Rice from Washington will be in line for the coveted rose. She will be competing with Olivia Caridi of Texas, who works as a new anchor.

Host of the show Chris Harrison recently spoke to USA Today about the upcoming season with Higgins. He said, "He reminds me a lot of Sean Lowe… He's charismatic, he's charming, self-deprecating, he's a man of faith. I think that people are going to get to see a very genuine, good gentleman and a good man be The Bachelor. I think it's going to be a wild season."
