'The Bachelorette' 2014 Spoilers: 11 Go to France, But 3 Return Home
Tonight "The Bachelorette" heads to France, where three men will be eliminated. Who gets a rose and who gets told to go? Read on to find out.
In this first episode, which takes place in Marseille, France, 11 men remain. Josh Murray wins the coveted one-on-one date with Andi and the two spend time learning how to make liquor before being serenaded by Ben Fields during a private concert. It's a sweet date for the two to go on, and it's clear that they enjoy one another's company.
Next is the often troublesome and dramatic group date – this time with nine men: Chris, Marcus, Marquel, Andrew, Pat, Dylan, Nick, JJ, and Cody. All of the men, plus Andi, went for a walkabout tour of France. They spent time getting to know one another better and the men all took turns vying for Andi's attention. Finally, JJ managed to steal Andi away from the crowd and onto a Ferris wheel, where they enjoyed a cozy ride together. Needless to say, he won the group date rose.
For the final one-on-one date of the episode, Brian Osbourne and Andi cuddled up to watch Disney's new film, "The Hundred Foot Journey," in a private theater. Then, Andi decided to try her hand at making an authentic French dinner, which turned out to be frog legs. Things did not exactly go so well with the food, so the couple left the legs and went out for drinks instead.
At the elimination ceremony, Andi bid "adieu" to Marquel, Andrew, and Pat.
The remaining eight men, and Andi, celebrated and offered the traditional toast before learning they would be moving on to Venice and Verona in Italy.
During next week's episode, only two men will be eliminated, meaning that the pressure is growing much more intense … and there is still the bombshell of Eric Hill's death to deal with. The contestants and Andi all found out at the same time, so there will be a powerful and emotional episode left to come.
