'The Bachelorette' Emily Maynard's Secret Calls to Brad Womack, Chris Harrison Affair?
"The Bachelorette" star Emily Maynard is said to be having doubts about the contestant who she picked as the winner during the reality TV show's finale episode, and she has reportedly turned to her ex-fiancé Brad Womack for emotional support.
Maynard, 26, who announced her split from Womack in June 2011 after winning season 15 of the popular ABC show, is now said to be engaged to a new man but can't seem to let go of 39-year-old Womack, according to Life & Style Magazine.
"They call and text each other. They weren't on good terms after their painful breakup, but Brad says they're talking now, and it's throwing him for a loop. It's weird timing, but if anyone can understand what Emily is going through, it's Brad," a source told Life & Style.
"She's turning to him during this time [because] if Emily doesn't really know her new fiancé, like she didn't know Brad, then I can see how she must be confused," a source explained.
While Maynard appears to be confiding in Womack, who took full responsibility for their broken engagement last year, new reports suggest that the real reason why she is having doubts about her new fiancé is because she is actually in love with the reality show's host, Chris Harrison, according to Star Magazine.
Staff at ABC, along with former contestants, are reportedly convinced that Maynard, and Harrison, 40, are in love with one another.
Past winner Vienna Girardi believes that chances are Maynard will not end up with any of the final four "The Bachelorette" contestants because she is so smitten with Harrison.
"From the beginning, I always said there was no way Emily was really going to end up with one of the guys because she really wanted to be with Chris, and it was obvious he wanted to be with her too," Girardi told Star.
"I vacationed with Chris and his family in St. Lucia and know him well. He was never with his wife. He's such a flirt," she said, adding, "I guarantee Emily and Chris will end up together in the end. If she gets engaged to another man, the show will probably spin it as a love triangle."
