'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 News: EP Talks About Future of the Characters

After nine seasons of "The Big Bang Theory," fans are wondering what the future of the characters will be now that they are all in serious relationships.

The most recent season presented several milestones for the group. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) moved forward in their relationship after getting through several obstacles. Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will soon be receiving a new addition to their family.

As for Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki), there has been a lot of questions regarding how their relationship will progress now that they are married. With that, the executive producer of the series, Steve Molaro, shared some interesting details about their plans for the couple.

Unfortunately, he said that there are currently no plans for Penny and Leonard to move in together without having Sheldon as their roommate. Molar explained why the past season presented this living arrangement despite the relationships at hand.

Molaro told Entertainment Weekly, "For now, for me, Leonard-Sheldon-Penny floating around in those two apartments is a pretty important basic building block of what 'The Big Bang Theory' is. At this point in time, we're not rushing to people moving out."

In addition, he also explained that he does not want to rush things between Sheldon and Amy. Nevertheless, he is excited to present upcoming storylines of season 10. He said, "It's probably a good thing, any nerves about this, this means we're making changes that matter. Ultimately that growth is exciting and good for the health of the show. The goal is to make those kinds of changes true and sure, Wolowitz and Bernadette pregnant, that's a big step, but it's also a manageable one."

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 is expected to premiere on CBS later this fall.
