'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 13 Spoilers: Sheldon Becomes Apologetic To Friends
The hit sitcom from CBS, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9, is slated to return this week with an episode that will see Sheldon suddenly becoming apologetic to his friends.
In the segment called "The Empathy Optimization," the theoretical physicist will finally come to terms with the truth that sometimes one has to be self-aware of his/her own faults which, in his particular case, is being annoying.
The synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic also revealed that Sheldon will find out that Leonard, Penny and the rest of the gang are planning for a trip to Las Vegas to treat themselves to a "Sheldon-free weekend."
A sharp pang to the chest, Sheldon will do everything to be with his pals. One of his attempts is to apologize to each of his friends.
In the promo video shared over at YouTube, Sheldon can be seen approaching Leonard, prompting him to "get ready for an apology."
The next scene found him ambushing Penny while she was taking a shower.
"Can this wait?" Leonard's wife seemed to be irritated.
"I'm afraid it can't. I have more apologies to make," Sheldon insisted.
Apparently, his Sheldon's Apology Tour 2016 won't come as easy as he expected it to be as he has to make himself sound even more convincing. He practices by talking with Raj.
"I feel terrible," he said in varying tones.
"Wow! I don't know which one I like more," he soon realized.
And if that weren't enough, the nerd goes all-out in his efforts to make everyone know how serious he is. Near the end of the video, Bernadette and Howard looked quite baffled as they both held out a blue shirt with the words written in front saying, "Sheldon Cooper Apologized To Me."
Will his apologizing spree work on everyone? Will his friends buy the sincerity of his gestures?
Find out how these events unfold when "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 airs this Thursday, Jan. 14, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
