'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 14 Spoilers: Meemaw Will Finally Appear on the Show
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 won't return until February, and fans wonder what's next for the show after its short break. As previously reported, Meemaw (June Squibb), Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) maternal grandmother, was said to be making an appearance after nine seasons, and it seems that the day for fans to see her on screen has finally arrived.
According to the Hollywood Hills, Meemaw's appearance now got an official air date, and she will be featured on the episode that airs on Feb. 4. The website teases that she will reveal one of Sheldon's secrets, and it also said there will be drama, since Meemaw will pick on Amy (Mayim Bialik) when the two finally meet. It will be interesting to see how the two women will interact, and fans are looking forward to see how Sheldon will handle it.
The press release for the upcoming episode, which is titled "The Meemaw Materialization," was posted on the website, and it reads, "Meemaw is going to meet Amy, but it won't be all roses. Meemaw will seem to have an axe to grind with her. Sheldon is going to come to Amy's defense, but not before Meemaw lets a little secret of his slip."
Meanwhile, Mayim Bialik finally won an award for her role as Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler in the recently concluded Critic's Choice Awards, according to the Daily Mail UK. The website said that she dedicated her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award to her father, who died last April 2015. "'My dad died nine and a half months ago, and he was my harshest critic and he never lived to see me win anything," she said during her speech.
Her co-star, Jim Parsons, congratulated her on his Instagram account, and said, "'You won!!! Yes! You deserve it!!! I'm so happy for you!!"
