'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 8 Spoilers: Sheldon's New Date

Following many hilarious twists and turns in the "Shamy" saga, both bright minds are now ready to date someone new and it seems Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is above and over the previous episode's drama.

The eighth episode of the season titled "The Mystery Date Observation" will introduce someone new to Sheldon's life now that he and Amy (Mayim Bialik) have called it quits. In the previous episode, Sheldon has decided to get on his knees and pop the question to Amy, and just as he mustered enough courage to face Amy with an engagement ring, he saw her kissing another man.

As fans very well know Sheldon, he seemed too surprised to say anything. In what could be the most emotional face he has ever displayed in the show yet, the brightest and smartest of all appeared to be heartbroken.

On the other hand, he isn't wasting any more time crying over spilled milk. He gets his good friends Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard (Simon Helberg) to find a new girl he can date. Of course, fans are well aware that he's only searching for a new girlfriend so he can prove to Amy that he has moved on.

Sheldon's friends have found the perfect date for him in the form of guest star Analeigh Tipton, former "America's Next Top Model" contestant. It is worth noting that Raj and Howard found Amy for Sheldon and it's only reasonable that Sheldon seek help from them to find a new girl to replace Amy's loss.

Amy, on the other hand, goes on another date with Dave (guest star Stephen Merchant), but in a bitter twist of fate, Dave turns out to be a huge Dr. Sheldon Cooper fan. Amy is frustrated to find out that Dave actually wants to find out more about Sheldon instead of her new date trying to find out anything interesting about her.

What amount of chaos will Amy and Sheldon's new dates bring? Find out in the next episode of "The Big Bang Theory," which airs Thursday, Nov. 12, on CBS.
