'The Biggest Loser' Lost the Contestants: Production Canceled
The "Biggest Loser" might have just lost all of this season's contestants.
The contestants have threatened to quit in response to an unanticipated show change, according to a new report. Production has currently been shut down.
On the reality show where contestants compete to see who can shed the most pounds and win the title of "Biggest Loser," a new announcement has caused show producers perhaps the biggest loss. This could be the first time in the show's history where the producers stand to be the most suitable candidates to win their own show.
TMZ released a new report stating that production on the show has ceased for at least a week, after contestants became outraged over producers allowing past contestants to return this season and compete.
"Multiple sources connected with the show tell us ... the mutiny took place this week ... when the losers got word that producers were considering bringing back previous contestants to compete for the grand prize," TMZ reported.
The contestants have raised a ruckus over the added competition.
"We're told most of the current contestants were pissed- feeling it was unfair that prior losers would get a second bite at the apple ... so they banded together and decided to protest by walking off the show in the middle of shooting an episode," TMZ added.
That news could help Roy Pickler, however, who has said that he was voted off for working out too much.
Pickler told reporters the he was "doing workouts off-camera and when the groups weren't together and often before the [trainer] workouts started in a day," according to People. He believes that working out on his own time caused him to appear tired in front of the others.
During weigh in Pickler had lost nine pounds, which was more than other contestants, but was still voted off.
