'The Biggest Loser – Temptation Nation' News: Jen Widerstrom Loves Colby's Attitude in Training
Jen Widerstrom is back to win again in this season's "The Biggest Loser – Temptation Nation," and she has her eyes on one of her team members, Colby Wright.
In her blog posted on People, Widerstrom said that she is inspired by Colby, whom she described as a "smart-mouthed, one-lining genius," but also a "sweetheart of a man." Colby was the one responsible for lifting the team's spirit when they lost the first challenge to the Red Team of Dolvett Quince.
The 33-year-old trainer said that she appreciates Colby's motivation to get up every morning and not waste the opportunity given to him in the show by training every day. "To have lost your father to suicide and still have such a positive attitude that demands to be present and positive is what's so remarkable about him," Widerstrom said.
She praised Colby for not allowing his past define what he is now, which she said is something powerful to have. However, she said she still needs him to step into his own purpose and not to live out the dreams of others. Widerstrom also encourages everyone, not just Colby, to be bold and have an empowered mind-set to finally start living healthy.
Meanwhile, GQ revealed Dolvett Quince's diet and how he keeps his body in shape, especially that his physique is under scrutiny on TV most of the time. According to the website, Quince is meticulous about the things he puts into his body, including the vitamins and supplements he takes. GQ also mentioned that he's now starting a new fitness campaign that promotes heart health and the usage of antioxidants.
However, Quince revealed that he also doesn't deprive his body some indulgence at all. He admitted to letting himself have some "cheat meals," but he said those are usually scheduled, which takes a lot of discipline, especially those on diet. Well, it definitely shows on the fit trainer.
"The Biggest Loser – Temptation Nation" airs every Monday on NBC.
