According to Games Radar, the update will give fans lots of exciting things including "another 100+ hours to the game." First of all, there will be a whole new game mode called the Greed mode. It will greatly center on risk or reward that is an absolutely new way to play, has new endings and fighting a final boss. There will be a total of 10 new challenges and over 1000 new rooms to be added in the game. The new room types will include trap rooms, double treasure rooms and ultra rare closets.

Aside from that, the "Afterbirth" DLC will bring over 525 new items including bombs, pills, cards, and chests. There will be over 25 new enemy types, four new alternate chapters and eight new bosses. A new playable character in the name of Lilith, mother of demons, will also be added. And then with Daily Runs, players can compete with friends, aiming to get a high score or the best time on the leader boards in the daily seeded runs. Furthermore, there will new transformations and the item combo system will be updated.

That's not really all there is to it. The team behind the randomly-generated action RPG shooter video game have added a lot, literally. A trailer has been released already and the game will cost $9.99.
