'The Brave' Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: Will a Life Be Sacrificed for the Sake of 'The Greater Good'?
Capt. Adam Dalton's (Mike Vogel) special operations team may have already succeeded in rescuing a surgeon and a highly important agent of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), but it seems that things are only about to get even more complicated for them on the next episode of NBC's new military drama series, "The Brave."
The teaser summary for the upcoming episode titled "The Greater Good" reveals that an intel pointing to an international arms deal will lead Patricia to make a rather controversial decision that may or may not lead to a huge breakthrough. However, a weak link among Rainer Boothe's (Andrew Howard) men needs to be found first in order to carry out this significant part of the mission.
As it turns out, Boothe was the one who issued the order to murder Hannah Rivera (Sofia Pernas), which makes this operation a rather personal matter for the former field agent who is now working as a mission coordinator for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
The preview for the next episode tosses the question of whether Hannah will be able to stay level-headed throughout the operation, or if her personal vendetta will end up leading Dalton's team into a deadly trap.
But while it seems that someone may get seriously hurt as the special ops team carries out their mission, audiences who have seen the first two episodes of the series may have reason to doubt if Dalton's team could really be put at a disadvantage without this very thing being part of their plan.
Dalton has a tendency to operate in rather unorthodox ways and is the kind of commanding officer who would prefer to wrap up a mission with all of his team intact. However, there is also a possibility that Hannah's vengeful will just might get the team into real trouble this time around — one that they may not be able to pull through.
What will the DIA Deputy Director, Patricia Campbell (Anne Heche) and Dalton be forced to sacrifice for the sake of the greater good?
"The Brave" airs on Mondays at 10:01 p.m. EDT on NBC.
