The David Crowder Band Saves Children with Final Tour
The David Crowder Band sold out 26 shows on their final tour, which wraps up Nov. 13 in Jackson, Miss.
The band has 33 shows scheduled on the final tour before they wrap up and disband.
“The 7 Tour” is traveling through many major cities, such as Dallas, New York City, Portland, Seattle, and Philadelphia, and it will feature artists John Mark McMillan and Chris August.

The David Crowder Band is working with Project 7 and ONE organizations to raise money for building water wells in Africa.
ONE, founded by Bono, the lead singer of the band U2, helps fans to use their voices for fighting against poverty and preventable disease. The organization has helped save 61 million children in and out of school.
Project 7 requires users to take everyday products and create a positive change by giving back to the needy.
“We’re excited to team up with the David Crowder Band and “The 7 Tour” to help raise funds for our 7 Wells Project,” said Tyler Merrick, founder and CEO of Project 7. “It’s wonderful to see the band use its tour as a platform to help others by partnering with us to provide clean drinking water for those in need through the building of water wells.”
Merrick said the organization’s goal, through the partnership, is to “spread awareness of the fact that more than one billion people worldwide lack a basic supply of clean water” and to make it easy for concert goers to donate to by rewarding them with a canister of Quench the Thirsty™ 7 Blend Coffee.
The band released their first Christmas album, Oh For Jo Oct. 4.
This album features familiar songs, such as "Joy to the World," "The First Noel," "Oh Holy Night," "Silent Night," in a re-imagined and unique arranging.
The album also features David Crowder Band signature styling’s with a little more elements of pop, rock, acoustic, bluegrass, and even a few live cuts patterned throughout.
The Christmas album will not be the band’s last, however. Give Us Rest is slated to be the band’s final musical project.
The David Crowder Band's previous non-Holiday album, Church Music, released in 2009, was Grammy nominated and debuted at the top of the charts. It sold 35,000 units in Christian retail and peaked at 11 on the Billboard 200 on its street release week.
