'The Division' Open Beta Kicks Off on Feb. 18

"The Division" open beta is set to begin on Feb. 18 for Xbox One players and on Feb. 19 for PlayStation (PS) 4 and PC players.

Ubisoft fans will finally get to join the open beta of "The Division" next week after the close beta, which was launched a few weeks ago. The open beta will only run for a few days, so gamers will have quite a short window of time to try the game, according to Destructoid.

On Feb. 16, players can start pre-loading the open beta, which is estimated to be around 26 GB. It is designed to further test the system of the games and generate feedback from players that they can use to make the game experience better, PlayStation Lifestyle reports.

The open beta of "The Division" will include new missions that were previously not in the previous test. Participants will be able to receive an exclusive reward once the game is officially launched on Mar. 8, the report relays.

"In addition to the content that was featured in the Closed Beta, the Open Beta will include an all new story mission for players to explore in their pursuit to save the city," said Ubisoft. "Furthermore, everyone who participates in this latest testing phase will receive a special in-game reward which will unlock for players when the full game is released."

Meanwhile, the game developer also released a new trailer for the game that gives players a preview into post-apocalyptic New York. The video titled "Enemy Factions" also shows the factions or enemies present during that time. Players will be on a mission to restore order to New York City after the virus broke out, the report details.

"The Division" open beta will run from Feb. 18 for Xbox One and Feb. 19 for PS4 and PC and will end on Feb. 21.
