'The Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia' News: To Be Announced on December 2014?
The Elder Scrolls game franchise is definitely one of the most popular in the gaming industry, and fans have been clamoring for a follow-up from Bethesda, or at least an announcement when the sixth installment will be out.
Earlier reports claim that work on Argonia was conceptualized shortly after the release of Bethesda's Skyrim in 2011. It is said that work on the upcoming game did not begin until the release of this year's The Elder Scrolls: Online.
Now, according to the latest reports, the announcement could be made at the Playstation Experience Event in Las Vegas next month where the game developer will reveal more information about the game, tentatively titled Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia.
While some are in doubt whether the game is being developed at all, the Tehran Chronicle reports that Elder Scrolls 6 has been confirmed and is under heavy development.
The website also claims that fans can expect the setting of the game to be on Black Marsh, also known as Argonia, which is home to reptilian natives of the swampland forest. Though no details have been leaked about the upcoming game, Cyberland reports that Bethesda has shared new details about Elder Scroll 6 and some concept art behind closed doors at EGX 2014.
Adding to fans' growing anticipation of the game are the various rumors that have come out regarding Elder Scrolls 6. It is said that the upcoming title will be close to the roots of its predecessors, and the main story and characters have yet to be confirmed. The game is rumored to be released in March 2016 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
